I know so many people , mainly men but can happen with women too , that are convinced they cannot gain weight i.e. build muscle , they say no matter how much they eat or do it just doesn't happen and my response is always the same, " do you track your calorie intake and/or lift weights ? " to which they reply "no theres no point , I know it won't work"
This isn't my opinion , this is an absolute fact that if you eat in a caloric surplus and start resistance training you will build muscle.
You cannot say something doesn't or won't work if you have never tried it, it may take time and some adjustments along the way to get where you need to be but you just need to try it, why spend your time giving out or not being happy with how you are if you can change it , it's so achievable , it's not easy and it'll take effort , commitment and time but it can be done, the only thing stopping you is yourself.
I'm not implying all "skinny" people want to be big and start building muscle , if your happy with how you are that's awesome but I know there is some people out there that do want to grow and learn how to change and all I want them to know is they can , if there willing to put the work in.
Never settle for anything less than what will make you truly happy and never just admit defeat because you don't want to try or because your sceptical about the process , get up and get it done , do the workouts , track the food , open your mind up to the possibility of having what you really want and then go and get it , noone is going to do it for you. at Dublin, Ireland
