So this is a bit of a boring and poorly edited post, but it gave me the chance to experiment with #timelapse as well as publicly mark new habits that I’m proud to form. (Time lapse of handstand and meditation-10 mins each
Handstands have been such a struggle for me over the past few years, and it’s really only because I never disciplined myself to practice them regularly until now. I’ve always understood the benefits, but never applied the knowledge. But after consistently practicing over the past 2 weeks I can honestly say I see little hints of improvement.
I’m also happy to get back into mindfulness meditation. And I don’t mean to sound antiquated or sanctimonious when I bring subjects like meditation up, but I truly do believe in the cognitive benefits of mindfulness practice and it’s making me happy to dive back into mind.
I intend to do this practice every morning, but I won’t flood my profile with that, except on days of significant improvements on my handstand. I enjoy the mindbody communication between these two exercises, and it’s so easy to spare 20 mins out of one’s day.
